The Throne Chasers is committed to expanding its footprint in the renewable energy sector, particularly across Southern Africa. A major milestone was achieved when Solarcentury Africa, supported by The Throne Chasers, secured full membership in the Southern African Power Pool (SAPP) as a market participant. This membership strengthens our goal of becoming a leading regional power provider.

With our backing, Solarcentury Africa is developing a diversified portfolio of renewable electricity projects designed to supply clean power directly to customers and seamlessly into the regional grid through SAPP.

Across sub-Saharan Africa, more than 600 million people lack access to reliable electricity. The Throne Chasers is dedicated to contributing solutions aligned with UN SDG 7 — ensuring access to affordable, reliable and modern energy for all.

The Throne Chasers aims to establish a strong and scalable presence within Southern Africa’s power sector. Our progress accelerated when Solarcentury Africa attained full market participant status within the Southern African Power Pool, opening doors to cross-border energy exchange.

Through strategic investments and partnerships, we are creating a portfolio of renewable power assets that generate, trade, and deliver electricity to regional customers and national grids.

Millions across sub-Saharan Africa still face electricity shortages. Our commitment to enabling clean and reliable energy aligns closely with the objectives of UN SDG 7.

The launch of our merchant solar trading operations through SAPP in 2025 is a landmark achievement in our renewable energy journey.

From land restoration to clean-energy initiatives, The Throne Chasers actively supports and develops environmental projects that contribute to long-term ecological balance. Each initiative is designed to support community resilience, protect natural resources, and accelerate the global transition to low-carbon systems.

The Throne Chasers is expanding its presence in global carbon markets through responsible and transparent carbon trading practices. Leveraging the expertise of Solarcentury Africa and our strategic partners, we are building frameworks that help businesses offset emissions while supporting verified climate-positive projects.

Our work contributes to reducing carbon intensity across regions with limited access to clean energy, reinforcing our alignment with UN SDG 13 – Climate Action.

The commencement of our solar-based power trading in 2025 further strengthens our role in enabling low-carbon alternatives.
